Products
We take reasonable care to ensure product descriptions, photographs, dimensions and specifications are accurate. Colours, finishes and appearance may vary slightly because of manufacturing tolerances, materials, photography and screen settings.
Customers are responsible for reviewing the full product specification before ordering. Where dimensions, load ratings or compatibility are critical, please contact us before purchase.
Drainage product suitability
Drainage products must be suitable for the specific installation in which they are used. The purchaser or installer is responsible for checking dimensions, load classification, drainage capacity, materials, connections and other relevant technical requirements.
A product's appearance alone must not be used to decide whether it is suitable for pedestrian, driveway, vehicle, commercial or other load-bearing applications. Products should be installed correctly and in accordance with applicable specifications and requirements.
Prices
Prices displayed on our website are subject to change. The price applicable to an order will normally be the price displayed when the order is submitted, subject to correction of obvious pricing errors. Any applicable taxes and delivery charges will be shown or communicated before the purchase is completed.
Promotions and discounts
Discount codes, promotional prices and special offers may be subject to separate conditions and availability. Unless otherwise stated, promotions cannot necessarily be combined. We may withdraw or amend a promotion, but this will not normally affect orders already validly accepted.
Placing an order
When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase the products in your basket. An automated acknowledgement does not necessarily mean we have accepted the order. A contract is formed when we accept your order, normally through confirmation or fulfilment of the order.
Availability
All products are subject to availability. If an item becomes unavailable after an order has been submitted, we will contact you and may offer an alternative, a revised delivery estimate or a refund, as appropriate.
Payment
Payment must be made using an accepted payment method shown during checkout. You confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method submitted with your order.
Delivery
Delivery is subject to our Delivery Information page and any terms displayed at checkout. Customers must provide an accurate delivery address and suitable contact information. Delivery dates are estimates unless expressly agreed as guaranteed. Large, heavy or palletised products may require additional delivery arrangements.
Risk and ownership
Where applicable, risk in goods passes in accordance with applicable law and the nature of the transaction. For consumer purchases, nothing in these Terms changes any statutory protection relating to when risk passes to the consumer.
Ownership of goods will not pass until payment for those goods has been received in full, to the extent legally permitted.
Cancellations, returns and refunds
Consumer orders may qualify for cancellation rights under applicable distance-selling legislation. Please read our Returns & Refunds Policy for full information. This does not affect separate statutory rights where goods are faulty, misdescribed or otherwise do not conform to the contract.
Faulty or incorrect goods
If you receive a faulty, damaged or incorrect product, contact us promptly. Do not install a product you believe is incorrect or visibly damaged before contacting us. Consumer customers may have remedies under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Installation
Unless expressly stated otherwise, Budget Drains supplies drainage products and does not take responsibility for the customer's installation work. Products should be installed by a competent person where appropriate.
We are not responsible for defects or damage caused by incorrect installation, misuse, unauthorised modification, unsuitable site conditions, incorrect product selection or failure to follow product specifications, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
Product measurements
Check dimensions before purchase and again before installation. Do not rely solely on a nominal size name where precise measurements are important. If you are unsure whether a product will fit an existing opening or drainage system, contact us before ordering.
Trade and business customers
Some statutory consumer protections apply only to individuals acting wholly or mainly outside their trade, business, craft or profession. Orders made for business purposes may therefore be subject to different cancellation, return and liability arrangements. Separately agreed trade terms take priority where applicable.
Our liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or statutory consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Subject to those protections, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable, or for business losses suffered by a consumer. Business customers may be subject to additional limitations agreed as part of their trade terms.
Events outside our reasonable control
We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, such as severe weather, transport disruption, carrier failures, industrial action, natural events, supply-chain disruption or governmental restrictions. We will take reasonable steps to minimise the effects where possible.

Intellectual property
